Mikel Crespo, new coach of VCF Femenino
The Basque coach brings experience in women's football in Spain, having guided Deportivo Alavés to promotion to the top tier during the 2020-21 season
VCF Femenino fell to a 5-0 defeat away from home to leaders Barça Women, in their latest Primera Iberdrola game.
Alexia put the home side ahead from the penalty spot in the 7th minute, just after Enith had made an excellent save.
The opposition controlled possession, with VCF Femenino looking for counterattacks throughout the first half.
Barça Women scored their second in the 25th minute through Graham, with Oshoala making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. The first half goals were capped by one for Patri, two minutes before the break.
With a favourable scoreline, there was little way back in the second half, and the opportunities failed to present themselves for VCF Femenino.
Finally, the scoring was concluded by Graham in the 90th minute, ending a tough afternoon for the Valencia CF women's team.
